My brother and I visited the Adelaide Hills with our relatives during our day out in Adelaide. After an interesting drive on Gorge and Corkscrew roads, we arrived to the summit of Mount Lofty on a windy and cloudy day. Making the most of the break in the rain, we with three of the boys hiked the short Discovery Walk, before the rain drove us back into the warmth of the Visitors Centre.

The Discovery Walk was quite underwhelming, but the views from the summit made up for this. There are numerous trails in Cleland National Park and with more time it would have been nice to explore some of these.
