The golden sands of Seven Mile Beach are located between Gerroa and Shoalhaven Heads on New South Wales' Shoalhaven coast. There are two picnic areas and three walking tracks within the national park. The Sand Track Loop North that I explored on this trip is a short walk between the Beach Road and Gerroa Picnic areas.

The Sand Track Loop North track winds its way north from Beach Road Picnic area, through dune blackbutt, bangalay forests and littoral rainforest. The walk to Gerroa Picnic area is easy, on a level, but at times, sandy track. You have the option to return via Seven Mile Beach back to Beach Road Picnic Area. The walk along the beach is shorter, but more difficult due to the soft sand. Both picnic areas feature tables and toilets, with Beach Road picnic area also having gas barbecues.
