The tiny Queensland outback town of Eulo was established in 1872, and is a stopping point along the Adventure Way and Natural Sciences Loop. There are a number of unique and quirky attractions in the town and nearby area, including the Lizard Lounge and World Campion Lizard race track, a statue of a diprotodon (extinct marsupial), opal fields and mud springs.

My friend and I took the opportunity to explore the town on our drive from Cunnamulla to Thargomindah. The Eulo Lizard Lounge has a picnic area, with tables and toilets.
