This walk visits some of Sydney's most exclusive suburbs that fringe Sydney Harbour. Beginning at Watsons Bay, I made a quick detour to see Macquarie Lighthouse, before strolling through the delightful grounds of Vaucluse House to reach the harbour foreshore. Finding Shark Beach was a pleasant surprise with its white sand and clear waters. I later brought my family here to enjoy this wonderful beach.

The Hermitage Foreshore Walk preserves a little of the remaining bushland of southern Sydney Harbour and features some nice views as you head south to Rose Bay. As it was now getting late in the afternoon, I made a quick dash to Double Bay to catch the ferry back to Circular Quay. It was a pleasant day spent out in what I still consider to be one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
