North across the border
Travels north across the border into Queensland.
John and I headed north after Christmas to explore some places new to us. First was a visit to Hanging Rock in Nundle that dad and I had discovered earlier in the year. Continuing north, we visited the waterfalls of the Oxley Wild Rivers NP, including Wollomombi Falls, the highest waterfall in NSW.
We next explored the stunningly beautiful Dorrigo National Park, Nightcap NP and Mt Warning NP, before crossing the border into Queensland. Here we decided to head west to parts unknown to us, but the long drive was quite disappointing in terms of scenery.
Back in NSW, we finished off with a climb to the top of Bald Rock and a visit to the Border Ranges NP, before the long trek home.
