The track to Terrace Falls was one of the most surprising for me in the Blue Mountains. It was like stepping into another world, so different was the moss and fern covered valley floor compared to the much drier surrounding sandstone escarpment.

On this walk I visited four pools (Bedford, Lester, Willawong and Salote) and three waterfalls (The Pyramids, Little Terrace Falls and Terrace Falls), opting to skip the last waterfall (Victor Falls) in favour of doing the Waterfall Loop. I will definitely be returning to do this track and will include Victor Falls at that time.
