The walk to the South Head at the entrance to Sydney Harbour was the first in a three part walk in eastern Sydney. While I have visited South Head previously, I took the opportunity to visit some new places this time around.

I began the walk with a ferry ride to Watsons Bay, before exploring the historic cottages on the way to Camp Cove. From here I explored South Head, with its distinctive red and white vertically striped Hornby Lighthouse, before heading to the spectacular cliff face at the Gap to complete the first of the three walks.

From here I continued south on the Federation Cliff Walk and then finally the Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk.
