Junction Island is a small island at the junction of the Murray and Darling Rivers. The nature reserve features a number of interpretive signs along a short walk from Two Rivers Ski Reserve, highlighting the local flora and Aboriginal uses for these plants. This was a nice walk after my visit to the nearby Perry Sandhills, however, the track was a little overgrown and I could not reach the actual junction of the two rivers.

The restored Paddle Steamer Ruby (1907) in the nearby Fortherby Park is also interesting to see, as well as the historic Wentworth Gaol (1881).
