★★★★☆
The South Glory Cave is a self-guided, underground wonder, located in the Yarrangobilly Caves section of Kosciuszko National Park. First explored in 1834, the cave has some impressive features, beginning with the Glory Arch at the cave's entrance, through to the all white formations of the Ice Age Chamber. My friends and I spent an interesting hour exploring the cave at a leisurely pace.
A visit to the nearby thermal pool (water temperature of 27 degrees) is a must, and the walk along Yarrangobilly River from the pool leads to the entrance of the South Glory Cave.
