Founded in 1872 and located at the current location since 1897, The Art Gallery of New South Wales is one of the country's largest public galleries. The art gallery features numerous artwork from historic to contemporary.

My son and I visited the Art Gallery after our morning at the Hyde Park Barracks. I always like the classical paintings in the Grand Courts south building ground level), which is what we had time to see before my son became bored. It is definitely a place to explore for a few hours if you are interested in art.
