Brown's Falls was the first of a series of spectacular waterfalls on Spring Creek Road near Killarney in southern Queensland that my dad and I visited. The walk to the falls was along the banks of the creek and involved rock hopping and crossing the creek a number of times. A trekking pole to assist with the creek crossing was most helpful! The reward was an amazing view of the 15 m high waterfall and the amazing rock features over which the falls plunge. There is a picnic area with toilets at the start of the walk.

The nearby Daggs Falls is worth a stop, with an easy to access viewing platform. The highlight of the area is Queen Mary Falls, which features spectacular views of the falls, both from the top as well as the base of the falls. Queen Mary Falls also has a picnic area with full facilities.
