Booderee National Park

★★★☆☆
Booderee National Park makes up the majority of the Jervis Bay Territory and features stunningly beautiful beaches, coastal heath, dramatic cliffs and a variety of flora and fauna, some of which is unique to this area. I spent a wonderful morning exploring the national park, visiting many of the iconic locations within the national park. The national park is managed by Parks Australia and requires separate payment to the New South Wales national parks ($13 at the time of my visit).
Booderee National Park features a number of walks, ranging from a few hundred metres to the longer Munyunga waraga dhugan walk which I also did at 6 km. The highlights for me were walking among the kangaroos at Cave Beach, the white sands near Green Patch and the history of the Cape St George Lighthouse, lighthouses being one of my many interests.
