Pink Lakes
Murray-Sunset NP, VIC

★★★★☆
The Kline Nature Walk visits two of the Pink Lakes in the Murray-Sunset National Park. It is located north of the Lakes Crosbie campground and begins at the 'Salt Museum', an open air display of a large, rock hard mound of salt and the rusting relics of equipment that was used to extract salt from the lakes. There is evidence located throughout the national park of the former mining activity, including the tramway at Lake Becking and former township on the shores of Lake Kenyon that can be visited on the Pioneer Drive.
This walk is easy and provides some great views of two of the largest of the pink lakes - sadly just bright white when I visited. There are numerous information signs along the walk, providing insights into the flora, fauna and history of the area.
